Match fixtures 2011/12
Availability of players
Although a Sunday may not originally have a fixture, teams and players must be prepared for a fixture to be made up to, and including, the Tuesday night that week.
It is vital that players/parents keep the Coach/Manager/Administrator up to date. It is expected that all players are available throughout the season for both training and matches. If you know your child will be unavailable at any time please let Sian know, (078 1616 1310, by text is fine), at the earliest opportunity, so she can pass the information on as necessary and Managers can make appropriate team decisions.

Training
Preparation for the new season will start on Thursday 18th August at the Oakley Sports and Social Club (Home Ground) for 7 weeks (6.30-8pm). (Last session there is on 29th September). Training thereafter will be on the Astro pitch at Sharnbrook Upper School from Thursday 6th October to Thursday 22nd March inclusive (7-8pm). Please note: there will be an additional charge for this. Details to follow, but payment will be collected around the end of September.
Before running off home after training at the club, would you please help take down the goal posts/pack the nets/balls/bibs/cones? It means everyone gets home sooner. Thanks
Matches
Players must be at the venue (Home or Away) by 10am, in kit, ready to warm up for a 10.30 kick off. It is expected that the Team provides a linesman for every home and away match. Previously it has worked when 2 people share, doing half a match each. Training is available, but please text me asap if you are willing to help out. (Manager/Coach can’t do this for obvious reasons). Also, for some Home matches some help is required to set up with goal posts and the respect line. Please arrive a little earlier to help out. It really does make a difference. (Thanks)
